Elissa- I have an Udder Covers nursing cover that I only used a few times, but it worked well. Like some other brands it has a stiff band at the top that holds it open so you can look straight down at your baby. I liked that feature. I can't compare it to any other brands but I've had friends recommend Bebe Au Lait. I always wanted to try L'oved Baby's nursing shawls. I had a client wearing one and it looked great- like part of her outfit.

Is there a particular breastfeeding cover/drape that you like? There are lots of choices for women who breastfeed, but I was wondering if you found one that had less exposure of mom!?

Angie- That’s great that you can feed him anywhere. I think it’s so good for moms to nurse babies in public just so people get used to it. There are so many women who have never seen another mom nursing, so to them, breastfeeding seems weird and uncomfortable.
I planned to do more public breastfeeding, for that reason and just because babies should be able to eat whenever they are hungry. But ever since he was about 2 months, he has refused to nurse with distractions, no matter how hungry and fussy. It’s not always the most convenient, but I try to look on the bright side, I end up seeking out relaxing places and I get to take a break

One of my favorite/best places to nurse when we are out is a dressing room at the store/mall. That way I can close the door, my 3 year old is contained, and Carter can nurse without being distracted. Honestly though, I’ll feed him anywhere, doesn’t bother me a bit. I try to be discreet as possible, but I’m pretty sure lots of people in my town have seen my boob. haha
